​​​​Jesus Sims Prayer Line Ministries was birthed out of faith,

perseverance, and the power of collective prayer.

 

​

In 2005, Rodger and Donna Sims were serving on active duty with the U.S. Army while stationed in Germany. During that time, Donna was pregnant with their second son when an ultrasound revealed he would be born with only half of a heart. Due to the seriousness of the diagnosis, the family was compassionately reassigned, and over the next three years their son underwent three open-heart surgeries at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Throughout this journey, prayer became essential. Family and friends united across distances through three-way phone calls, coming together daily to pray for healing, strength, and guidance. Those moments of shared faith became the foundation of what would later grow into Jesus' Sims Prayer Line Ministries.

Against overwhelming odds, their son survived — a testimony the Sims family attributes to God’s grace and divine intervention.  Knowing that God uses personal situations to draw people close to Him, Jesus’ Sims prayer line Ministry continues to thrive.  Today geographically dispersed partners join virtually using ‘WhatsApp’ every morning except on Fridays at 6:30 for prayer.  Seeing each other during scheduled Prayer retreats to do workshops, arts, crafts, and pray face to face.

Out of gratitude and obedience, prayer warriors commit to continue praying and create spaces where others could do the same. From that commitment came one clear mission:
